Necropticon is the place where game masters, writers, and other creators converge in order to fuel their passion. With tools, articles, and a rich database of resources, Necropticon is where you can find whatever you need in order to liven up any story you want to tell. Made by storytellers and for storytellers, our oath is to bring you the best content and advice that we can, in order to help you make your imagination a reality.
The centerpiece of Necropticon is the “Tome,” a huge database of dozens of characters, locations, and scenarios ready to put directly into your setting. The result of hundreds of hours of writing, design, and testing, the Tome is state-of-the-art, and designed to help you make your world vibrant and complex by letting you use what we have made and make it your own.
Mila
Mila is an experimental roleplayer with a messy “dialogue line ideas” notebook, a heralded champion of characters and locations that feel real, and a journalist with very, very needy tangents. She daydreams of disease-free edible gardens, fruity hot teas, medieval cooking books, and still finds time to nitpick at upcoming sandbox video games.
Ian
Ian is an old man stuck in a young man’s body and about as grumpy as you’d expect. When he isn’t gaming at the table, he’s pouring over old maps, reading classic fantasy schlock, and trying to keep on top of his daily exercise regime.
Graves
Graves is an avid writer, web designer, and gamer, with more ideas than he could hope to achieve in a lifetime. But, armed with a pot of coffee and an overactive imagination, he’ll try. When he isn’t working on a creative project, he is painting miniatures, reading cheesy sci-fi novels, or making music.
